Send Deepavali / Diwali Gifts to India from Malaysia

With AiiDell you can send Deepavali (Diwali) hampers, mithai, dry fruits, diyas, Ganesha or Lakshmi idols, puja thalis, candles and flowers to family in India, paying in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) with DuitNow. We buy locally in India. Deepavali 2026 falls on 8 November, so place your order by the last week of October.

Deepavali is about being with family, and for many Malaysians that family is in India. If you cannot be there, a gift that arrives on the day itself shows them you remembered.

AiiDell buys in India and delivers inside India, so there are no customs charges, no sweets spoiling in international post, and you pay in RM only.

The most popular Deepavali gift ideas

Large Indian gifting stores sell the same core categories every festive season. These are the ones people choose most:

  • Deepavali hampers: sweets, chocolates, savoury snacks, candles and diyas in one box
  • Mithai such as kaju katli, laddu and barfi
  • Dry fruits and nuts: almonds, cashews, raisins, dates (they keep longer than sweets)
  • Diyas (clay or hand-painted) and tea-light or scented candles
  • Ganesha and Lakshmi idols, plus puja thalis and puja boxes
  • Fresh flowers, indoor plants and cakes
  • Personalised gifts: named hampers, mugs or photo frames
  • Spa and self-care hampers for mothers and sisters

When to order

Deepavali 2026 is on Sunday, 8 November, with Dhanteras on 6 November. Shop orders usually take 5–10 working days after payment is confirmed and the festive season is busy, so order in the last week of October for big cities. For smaller towns, earlier is safer. Flowers and cakes can be ordered later because they can arrive the same day in selected cities.

Sweets or dry fruits?

If the gift has to travel for a few days, dry fruits and nuts are the safer choice because they keep well. Fresh sweets taste best from a shop close to the recipient, so choose a store in their city or a sealed mithai hamper. Not sure? Message us on WhatsApp and we will suggest what works for their city.
